DATA ACT NOTICE – TELEVISION
We are committed to ensuring that all data generated by our connected products and related services is processed fairly, lawfully, and securely. We attach great importance to compliance with Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (the "EU Data Act").
This Notice is intended to inform users about the types of data that may be generated by the products we sell and the associated services. Where we act as a data holder under the EU Data Act, we will also inform you how such data is used, what rights and obligations users have in relation to this data, how users can access the data, and whom they can contact in the event of complaints. You will also find contact details for any questions related to data processing.
This Notice must be read in conjunction with the applicable data protection notice, which shall prevail over this Notice with regard to personal data.
DATA GENERATED BY OUR PRODUCTS
Our products and services may generate data on a continuous basis. Please refer to the information below. Such product data may be accessed and used for diagnostic purposes in the event of servicing, maintenance, or repair. Where such data is accessed for diagnostic purposes, it will not be exported or used for any other purposes and will be deleted once the diagnostic process has been completed.
Related services may be provided in connection with the connected product and may generate data or access some or all of the product data listed below. Where Metz Display Poland (the owner of Panasonic brand in EU) is not the provider of such related services, the respective third-party provider is responsible for providing a similar communication, including pre-contractual information regarding the data generated by such services. This may be the case, for example, where the connected product is delivered with pre-installed software that also generates data. The list provided is not exhaustive.
